The evening will be crammed full of traditional activities such as Pinata whacking, dancing, Mexican inspired food and cocktails such as Mojitos, Margaritas + Tequila Sunrise, will be available with £1 per cocktail being donated to Shelter NI.

“The great need for affordable housing to rent or buy here will not be met if it is left to the free market to supply the solution. We have been over dependent on the private market to meet our housing needs recently.
The social housing sector cannot be relied upon to step up because of the austerity regime currently applied by the Westminster government and the priority for social housing programmes afforded by the Stormont Executive. We believe new initiatives are required to boost affordable housing supply and to identify new forms of finance to meet urgent housing need.
The night will raise funds for our latest initiative which we are hoping to renovate vacant and derelict housing in partnership with local communities. With these projects, we hope to generate work for employed and unemployed people; skilled tradesmen and apprentices and provide affordable housing for individuals and families in housing need.” Tony McQuillan, Director at Shelter NI
