On the 13th of May 2014, I started my work placement with Shelter NI. I got off to a good start. As I was meeting the staff and shaking hands with the director, i felt this great sense of relief pass over me. I was glad to be in a real working enviroment as I would finally be gaining the valuable experience that I need.
I now realise that this type of enviroment is essential for good working standards as you can actually feel yourself focusing harder on given tasks and set goals. This ultimately contributes to the experience gained. From now on I am moving forward.
