Each year we hold an event in memory of Colonel Barney Filor a founding member of Shelter NI, former Chair and latterly, President. Barney was also responsible for many other housing associations forming here.  He also had wider society and community interests and established organisations which provided various services from job training to promoting reconciliation.

On behalf of Shelter NI, I would like to invite you to attend the Annual Barney Filor Memorial Lecture ’17 that will be held at the Girdwood Community Hub, Belfast on Wednesday, 15th February 2017 commencing at 1.30pm.
