This bank holiday weekend has been non-stop for Shelter NI, first up was Frock around the Clock vintage fair in Bangor. The fair was organised by Becky Moore, Creative Director of Decadence Vintage Events. Becky has played an advisory role during the planning stages of our Swing for Shelter NI event. The Frock around the Clock fair in Bangor was part of the celebrations for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in the stunning grounds of Bangor castle. Ania and Claire manned the Shelter NI stall chatting to the public about our upcoming event on 16th June.
“We had a great response from the public about our event so we are looking forward to seeing everyone at our Swing for Shelter NI at the Stormont hotel in June. One vintage fan in particular is travelling up from Drogheda especially for the event. We are hoping not only to raise money but to raise awareness about Shelter NI and have good, old fashioned vintage fun!” Claire Douglas, Campaign and Fundraising officer.
